<PRE>Hi All,

I am pleased to announce the release of Komodo 3.5.2 for Linux,
Mac OS X, and Windows.	This is a bug fix release for the Komodo 3.5.x
stream. The important fixes include:

- [Windows] Fix AltGr+<number> keybindings for international keyboard
 layouts on Windows (bug 43021)
- [Windows] Fix XSLT autocomplete (bug 41898).
- Perl syntax checking default setting change to not use taint mode.
- [Windows] Fix setting of Windows File associations (bug 42107).
- [Linux] Fix SELinux issues that would prevent Komodo from starting on
Linux machines with SELinux kernel extensions installed and enforcing
-- the default on Fedora Core 4 (bug 43260).

What's New in Komodo 3.5
------------------------

The major news with Komodo 3.5 is a Mac OS X port and full Ruby support:
debugging (including the ability to debug Rails apps), code browsing,
AutoComplete and CallTip support, an Interactive Shell, background
syntax checking, code folding, and more.

In addition we've added better support for international languages by
adding Multilingual Input Method Editor (IME) support, updated Komodo's
internals to the same Mozilla code base as Firefox 1.5, and fixed
hundreds of bugs and feature requests[1].

Komodo 3.5 is a free upgrade for current Komodo 3.x users.

On behalf of the Komodo team,
Trent Mick

Komodo 3.X OS X Alpha Release

<PRE>Hi Everyone,

I'm pleased to announce the immediate availability of our first alpha
Release of Komodo on OS X. Komodo 3.X runs on OS X 10.3 and 10.4, and
is G4 optimized. This release is based on the Komodo 3.1 code and has
no new functionality other than the addition of Ruby debugging. Ruby
debugging support is very new, and will be added to the other platforms
once we have stabilized Komodo on OS X.

Another change in the Komodo code base is that we have moved from using
the Mozilla 1.7 code to using the Firefox 1.0.x code. We've also
finished porting Scintilla to OS X, and that port will be made available
in the near future through the Scintilla repository on Sourceforge.

If you are one of the many developers on Mac OS X go ahead and put this
alpha release through its paces. Send us your bug reports and join the
discussion list. We'd love to fine-tune Komodo 3.X for release later
this year.

We'll be using the komodo-beta email list for discussion of the OS X
port. If you are on that list and do not wish to receive emails about
the OS X alpha's and beta's, you can unsubscribe from the email list via
the link below.
